Flooded With Passion For Motherhood!

Flooded With Passion For Motherhood!

I recently made a trip to India with my daughter Abby and my mentor, Paula Fellingham.  We were part of a “Peace Delegation” launching the first tour of events to promote international Peace Day on September 21st and to share the message of the Global Peace and Prosperity Initiative that promotes many solutions to the UN resolutions. During our adventure, we…

  • stayed at the headquarters of the Brahma Kumaris (something few ever have the opportunity to do) atop a remote mountain in Rajasthan
  • shared “high tea” with a maharaja (prince) in his palace
  • dined with the head of the Global Hospital and has a dignitary luncheon there
  • met and dined with local leaders in Mt Abu
  • were honored on stage in front of more than 15,000 people live with millions more watching on TV
  • visited the 11th century Dilwara Jain temples
  • spoke with hundreds of university students at the University of Mumbai
  • met with the secretary of The World United: Doctors and Healers Association and author of Become Healthy or Extinct
  • visited privately with top leaders of the Brahma Kumaris (comparable to private meetings with apostles of the LDS church)
  • had a private meeting with the vice chancellor responsible for over 600 universities in India with 100,000 employees and 900,000 students
  • met and spoke with senior leaders of a major bank in India
  • visited for hours over breakfast with the owner of a 2500 acre resort, Pragati, in Hyderabad and toured the grounds with his staff
  • were give unprecedented access to a Krishna temple with a monk as a personal guide
  • danced in the streets with locals celebrating in the Ganesh festival
  • waded through waist deep waters in Mumbai in a torrential downpour during the worst monsoon rainfall since 2005
  • opened our rooms to dozens stranded in our flooded hotel
  • visited the gateway of India
  • met with the governor of Telangana
  • visited the Charminar monument
  • visited the second largest mall in India
  • chanted around a massive fire pit for rain
  • made many new friends and were embraced as family in their homes
  • and I received an award as a “Woman of Distinction” from the India Human Rights Organization.

WOW! We had such an amazing adventure! The monsoon “event” was my daughter Abby’s most favorite memory, so I thought I would share that experience first.

Here’s a little video sharing what I learned from Paula Fellingham about PASSION as she waded through the Mumbai Monsoon of 2017 with me following behind her.
